So many questions! I can't answer but I am interested in what others have to say.  I use Chrome because it works best with my MLS and Forms.

I use Firefox and Chrome, not so much for personal vs business, more often because some sites work better on one browser.

Wish I could uninstall Edge, however MS is insistent that I keep this pos browser.

I use a couple of Ad Blockers, they work very well, sometimes too well since they also block the share buttons in AR.

I do not use multiple browsers Fred Griffin Florida Real Estate BUT I do have multiple browsers on my desktop just in case Chrome isn't functioning properly. A good example is if I am upgrading an old machine I often need to use an older non-Chrome browser.

I do not change & only use Chrome. I download extensions for AdBlocking & many other features.

Never heard a reasoning for using separate browsers for different things. Read the one article & why make your life any more complicated than it already is? Seemed paranoid to me - I'll beat those trackers one way or another.

I have different log-ins on my computer.  I use chrome, I don't get any pop up ads.  I sign in as one thing if I am on my home network, another at the office and a third log in for travel that has zero credit card data ever used on it.  If I need to pay a bill or do something requiring payment on line when I travel, I use my phone as a hot spot and never a public wifi, but again, I never sign into my chrome account that I do bill pay on if I am away from home.  I have three different "google" accounts.

I primarily use Firefox.  For the oddball site that works better in Chrome, I use Brave since it strips most of Chrome's tracking stuff out.

I have a multi-tier approach for ad and tracking blocking.  I use Ublock, Privacy Badger, and Ghostery.  I also have Multi-Account Containers (and the related FB/Googe/Amazon Containers extensions as well) to isolate sites with Firefox.  For example, Firefox and Google both have their own containers so if I browse to facebook outside of the container it doesn't know my username and that helps to defeat their tracking pixel on random websites.

At the network layer, I use PiHole to block ads, tracking and some malware across all my devices (phones, rokus, etc.).  I even have a VPN that automatically connects my phone to my home network whenever I leave my home wifi so that I can enjoy the adblocking and protection of PiHole on the road.

I regularly us two browsers so my wife's accounts and my accounts can both have saved passwords.  I also cut and past from one browser to the other to make sure the link can be opened without a password.
