At the risk of stating the obvious, make sure you are logged in when commenting.  If not logged in that may cause the issue.

Oh that sure sounds frustrating.  I have not had an issue like this one.  It might be the browser you are using?  Just a hunch.  I've had other issues in the past that ended up being the brower.  Wishing you a quick resolve to this issue.

I suspect it's an issue with browser and a computer's security settings.  I have what you describe happen regularly with Edge.  I lost the ability to use Firefox with ActiveRain (issues with security certificates).  I have no issues when using Chrome.

No, that hasn't happened when I comment, Norbert. A few days ago, I could not comment, so came back later and it worked. Try deleting your cache and restarting (if you haven't already).

I would clear the cache, and try again.  Haven't experienced that at all.

Bugs come and go in the rain.  I find it helps to shut down my browser, and sometimes my computer, and come back later.  This generally helps clear out the bugs, or at least helps me to deal with them with a clear head and a clear computer.

It sounds like you are being logged out or the cookie that says you are logged in is missing, expired, blocked, or not seen.

Are you using a cookie cleaner or blocker on browser cookies?

When it sends you back to the login screen can you log in?

I use the Brave browser for security and privacy and it is working OK.

I do not use Big Tech snoopware browsers and search engines from Google or Microsoft.

Clear your cache or re-boot. That typically solves the vast majority of my online issues!!
