Yes and no.  A - I can certainly hire an assistant to write/compose ads BUT as the broker I still have to approve all advertising.  At my firm I do it in writing so I can prove if audited that I reviewed it.

It depends what it is. Under CT laws, there are specific functions that are permitted and ones that are  specifically prohibited, they are spelled out.

Well that depends.  Some assistants have had excellent marketing skills and compute  and social media whizzes - others not so much and you can imagine how that worked out. Everything always went through me for approval before it went out.

Similar to Tammy Lankford, yes, but as the broker, I must approve. Therefore, I manage the marketing myself. 

The same thing goes for hiring a TC. I need to approve all files, it makes no sense to hire someone.

As long as they don't interact directly with members of the public in a real estate capacity, they can certainly do that.  I would still be responsible for over-seeing everything they do.

if it is NOT your forte, yes to giving it to someone who CAN do the job. Most advertisements I see, marketing too, demonstrate a serious lack of the subject matter. EXAMPLES" You will love this house! Buy now before its too late. Lovely, beautiful, Glorius, outstanding home you will love etc. This is not marketing but instead, insulting telling people at large what they like or what to do. For this type of money & risks, TELL them don't sell them for best results and to preserve credibility. Negotiations will be coming soon

Is the assistant licensed, or unlicensed? 

Not I William. Marketers are what we are and if I am not the best person to market my listings then I should not even be in the business.

Sure, most things like posting adds do not require a license, however there are some things that do like showings and open houses.
