They will not automatically go to other sites.  There's a social media bar on the edge of your screen (look to left or bottom) with icons for Facebook, Twitter, etc.   Use those buttons to spread your post.

I do what Debe Maxwell, CRS does when posting my AR posts to my social media sites! No it is not automatic. The advantage is you can write an introductory statement on your social media site then include the link and a photo.

Good question and I thought the answer was no, I am glad that ActiveRain Member Support confirmed it.  I have seen the social media buttons on the side but have never used them myself.  Good to know that we can utilize them!

No, it doesn't automatically. I send the link 'by hand' instead of using the links at the left of the page. That way, I can add whichever photo I want to use on my social media sites.

But, you can certainly (and more expeditiously) post to social media via the links to the left of each page on AR.

I use an RSS feed to share my AR blog with my website, and for my social media I share the url to each post into KW Command and it schedules each post into several, or all, of my dozen social media sites.

This is done automatically in my WordPress blog using the free JetPack Social plugin (previously known as Publicize). The free plan includes up to 30 shares/month, the paid plan includes up to 1,000 shares/month.

I link my social media accounts to my WordPress blog and enable posting permissions.
Write once, post everywhere. Simple.

There are also other free/paid WordPress plugins options for auto-posting on social media.

My posts are also auto-timestamped on the blockchain with their unique hash values for copyright protection using the WordProof plugin.
