Age is just a number.  When I turned 70 I told people I was celebrating the 30th anniversary of my 40th birthday. In another less than two years when I turn 75, I'll be celebrating the 35th anniversary of my 45th birthday. As Billie Burke said: "age is something that doesn't matter, unless you're a cheese." (I'm definitely not a cheese.)

Age IS just a number. The older we get, the more we know!

In the last year I have come to full grips that I am an old man Richie Alan Naggar . I am now that weird old man that women and children avoid eye contact with. Bummer... once I was Adonis.

I stopped coaching high school baseball because it was difficult to keep up with the 14-16 yr old players (sub-varsity).  Instead, I umpire high school and youth baseball tournaments. Keeps me in the game and on the field. Really enjoying it. 

I am content to wake up on the right side of the grass each day. Age is a measurement of time only.

My body does seem to remind me more often these days that I am no longer 20.

Age is just a number, and it doesn't mean a thing (unless, of course it's the vintage of a bottle of wine).

Hi Richie- I am only reminded of my age when I am asked for it for a form. I feel half my age most days. 

It's good to be mindful of age, so I did give up tennis pretty much (except an occasional doubles) after a fall several years ago that gave me a shoulder fracture.  Now I swim most mornings, and that seems to give me a great overall workout. 

Yup! Sane here Richie.   Honestly in my circle of friends nobody focusing on age.  It's more like...........all right.........what's next or more fun straight ahead.

I have one son who never misses an opportunity to remind me of how old I am.

I AM living with gratitude. Age is just a number and life can be taken from you at any age, young or old.  I am well aware of that and live life accordingly.

The reality is, my 'all things' definition has changed.
No, I do not care to run the 10K in 40 minutes. I leave that to the 30 year olds.
I no longer care to run more than one ultra a year. I leave that to those whose pain tolerance is greater than my own.
What age has taught me, and many others, is life can be enjoyed fully through the sip and sample and fragrance and contemplation, acts of kindness, being present.
But from time to time, we all should choose to put the pedal to the metal and prove to ourselves 'we still got it!"
We must be aware, fear sells pharmaceuticals. And as the 'annual enrollment period' came to an end, it is clear who their target audience is. 
Today I decide between Saucony Endorphine Pro 3 or the Saucony Tempus. Yep, running shoes don't do well after 600 miles, need a new pair. "All things" have been modified.

This happened to me on Tuesday night when a player asked my age.  I told him I'd be 72 on December 22nd.  He said he hopes he can play tennis as well as me when he's 72.  That really made me think of my age.

It is an interest phase of our lives, but every step has its positive aspects and we need to embrace them.

I will say as long as I can keep up with my mom I feel good about things.  Hope I will be as able as she is at 78

I still think I'm half my age and act like it sometimes.  Hence the injuries.
