I am always a big fan of real!  This year, we are in the midst of selling our home and moving to AZ.  It will be interesting to see the selection of real trees that we have.  I sure hope the big guy in red can find us this year.  😎

I shared my red tree several years ago, this year I may forego it - Moxzilla might find too much temptation . . . but if I put it up and she annoys me it will go back in the box fast! LOL

I haven't had a real tree in decades. I always have at least two trees up in my house that have many ornaments on them. The real trees don't "hold" the ornaments all that well. Also, I like to put up my trees right after Thanksgiving and keep them up until Russian Orthodox Christmas and real trees don't last that long.

I have two kitties that would have a tree down in a nano second, so have not had a tree in a few years.

said she'd never do it, but three years ago went with fake.  It's pretty, but it doesn't drop needles on the floor.

The fake tree only triggers some of your senses, thought & emotions while the real tree activates them all. NOTE: On real trees, there are little "pimple" type bumps along the bark that when punctured, release more of the sent.

We have a very 'real' looking tree and it works so much better for us desert dwellers.  I will purchase a live wreath because I love the scent of fresh pine!

I love a real tree ( a fir), but my husband is allergic to them.  That is why we have a fake tree - and it is beautiful.

None personally.  But when we do, it's artificial.

A real tree will be in the living room... preferably a tall tree w/ medium girth.  There are festive imitations in the family room and sunroom.  :)

Feel same way about the love of the forest, the timber stand. This fellow was on the edge of a pasture field and as woods do, they try to crowd and populate. It's what trees do... so this one was on the edge. Every year have to bush hog and push back the trees that want to crowd the pasture and farm fields Bob Crane . Hope the operation is behind you and you are on the mend!

I am a Forester, so a fake tree is not an option.

We usually rescue a natural tree from an overcrowded forest area.

Ho-Ho-Ho Andrew!!! We used to get real trees and I left it to Larry to pick it out (he's pickier than I am). We now have a faux 4 foot tall tree that we use since our last dog (a Brittany) went blind.

Fake boxes of presents around a fake tree with fake snow and fake spray can of that Christmas aroma around the fake fireplace along with twinkling fake candles is all we need. MERRY CHRISTMAS

I was a Christmas Tree purist for about sixty years.  One year, after the tree dried up two weeks before Christmas I decided to buy an Artificial Tree the next year.  I bought one from Amazon for about sixty dollars.  This turned out to be an incredible decision.  The tree looks better, no needles to clean up for three months after Christmas, no fire danger and no expense each year.  We've had the same tree for about seven years and it's looks great.

For many years, we had live trees. Not only do they smell heavenly but can be planted afterwards rather than ending up in the dump. We may not be around this year and our children and grands will not be here, so might do the Fireball tree again. It was a hit!

We have a nice pre-lit tree that my husband puts up every year. Love real trees but keeping them watered is a bit of my challenge. My husband is in charge of the tree and he said no more real trees years ago. He put the tree up and all the decorations up so I'm not complaining.

Living downtown in the Sky, an artificial tree is the only way to go. Had a real one our first year and disposal was messy and difficult.
