Lol, never! I'm still friends with people from high school (and before) but driving 300 miles to hang out somewhere I spent years escaping doesn't appeal to me. I didn't peak in high school, but many did.

I've only ever attended one high school class reunion, my 40th. My 50th was cancelled due to the pandemic in 2021. Maybe I'll make it to the 55th in three years. I actually enjoyed my 40th... my class had only 52 of us and I've kept up with quite a number via Facebook.

I attended the 10th reunion and found little in common with the fellow classmates I spent four years of high school with. Went to the 20th under pressure from my best friend and it was even worse. So, from that point in, my best friend and I got together for our 50th reunion, had a drinks and that was that!

No reunions for me!

No, I do not attend class reunions. We no longer live in the area where we went to high school. And, the school no longer exists.

They probably are a lot of fun but I have only attended one of mine.  It was the 20th reunion and I never really saw an announcement for a 25th but maybe it was during covid, haha.

I attended my 20-year reunion, and it was OK, really didn't have any urge to attend any others.

I think that they are not well thought out. They should be fun & WORTH attending. My last reunion was at a brewery in our area & guess what - no one attended. I've got involved with the reunion team for next September. Very nice venue with good food on a golf course. There will be a bus that takes people back to the old neighborhood for those that no longer live here.

I went to my 5th.  Lately, we've started having "decade" mega-reunions.  I graduated in the 1970s.  I don't know if I will attend anymore, since i plan to move out of the area.

Hi Andy- I attended my 10 year high school reunion. We moved to FL and we’re gone from Houston off and on for 30 years. I did attend a monthly luncheon after I returned to Houston in 2019. It was fun but hard since I had not kept up with everyone

High school reunions don't get huge participation for many reasons. Partly because many classmates have moved on to other parts of the world and partly because modern technology has made it easy to keep in touch without a face-to-face weekend of partying every decade or two. Making plans to travel hundreds or thousands of miles to meet up with people you may not remember, typically dragging a spouse along who never met these people, does not appeal to everyone. While I'm not a fan of virtual meetings and would prefer in person perhaps including some sort of virtual event would connect those people who want to be connected but cannot attend in person? Those are my thoughts for the morning.

I enjoy getting together with old friends and wish that we had reunions more often, fortunately I do have the opportunity to see many of these people on fb.

1. No, never have. Facebook removed the need to.
2. I graduated from a private, all male high school; put there  because I was a rebellious youth so other than bragging on going to the same school as Tom Brady, Barry Bonds and Lynn Swan - I have no fond memories of high school. But, many great times in my high school years off campus with the neighborhood kids! 😎
3. Social Media killed the mystery and excitement.

Never been. It's usually a certain group of people that organize them, and most don't hear about them until the last minute or until they have already occurred. There are many mini reunions, and pics on facebook over the years show it's always the same group of people that attended. Now, many have moved away or died, so they try to combine 3-4 years of graduating classes and it's still low attendance. I don't think they're needed. If those people want to et together every few years, go ahead, but quit claiming it's a high school or mini reunion.

Funny you should ask this now...I just received an email the other day from our reunion committee and haven't responded yet.

I haven't attended any of our reunions yet, the first was the 20th which was held shortly after we moved to Florida so I could not attend. Our class was small (private school) so only 40+ in each class) so one year they decided to have an all class reunion and invited everyone who attended the school from its inception until closing (a few years after I graduated). I missed that due to having knee surgery and missed the 50th due to scheduling conflicts. I am on the fence about committing to the next one since it is 1,200 miles away so still debating. One thing that was interesting is that the reunion committee is always all men and it seems more men than women attend, no idea why.

I've not attended any but have heard the only ones that attend are Insurance Salesmen and those who, as Candice A. Donofrio mentioned, peaked during their high school days.  lol

I haven't attended any reunions as I have moved too far away and here in Canada our flights are just to expensive to go for just a weekend.  If I lived closer I may go to one.

Didn't take to school whatsoever growing up thus I failed to discover some of the pluses of having school friends. When Facebook came out, I used it to track down high all those school friends etc. and reminisce, ask questions and seek some sort of closure/satisfaction as to what happened to whom and why. After that, I never went back into the past life. I had some girlfriends that wanted to meet up, but I had to refuse to do so not wanting to stir up their old feelings. I wished them well & moved on

We have a small group that kept in touch and got together driven by a very special French teacher. Now that she's gone, we haven't gathered; only stay in touch via social media. Need to change that.

Never have, thought about it but since I'd have to go 3,200 miles to get there and my lack of motivation I don't see me ever going.  I wonder how many people are healthy enough to go and if I really want to see any of them anyway.
