Well, there is some truth to your humor Peter Mohylsky. Broker -BRIX REALTY , no doubt. But, Buffini & Company has been my coach for 23 years and I can say without hesitation that my career trajectory was turbo charged because of him, his coaches and the wonderful community we've created as members of his coaching company. I wouldn't trade it. It's a good life!

The guru to pay attention to is Fred Griffin Florida Real Estate because he nailed it. Tom Ferry was trained to be a coach without ever selling real estate. While they can provide some ideas from time to time the only place success is found before work is in the dictionary. 

I suspect that most coaches make a lot less money than people think that they do.

Peter, I think some of the coaches, hired by the big coaching firms are real estate practitioners, too. It seems they are doing both - coaching real estate licenses and selling real estate.

You got it! The Real Estate industry is a business within a business. Between pre-license, post-license, ce classes, coaching, and all the other things, we as Realtors are supporting a whole other RE industry.

Those who sold shovels during the great gold rush were the richest!

That has been the truth since time began.
The pick seller made more than the gold miner.
The real estate agent is the 'rainmaker' from which the predators extract their livelihood. But we know that.
Coaching seems to be the most relied upon tool to find a way to circumvent what we refuse to do. I would rather pour money into Facebook than knock on a door, for example.
