Hi Ray... I'll be working most of the day. While the sentiments behind Valentine's Day are lovely, I don't see that as an excuse to stop doing what I'd do on any other work day. My husband's birthday is February 13th as is his best friend's. So we just combine all celebrations next weekend.

My morning started with a beautiful bouquet of roses (never red) and I had ordered my husband his favourite chocolate from overseas.   We will have a wonderful dinner we prepare together of Beet Risotto with seared jumbo shrimps and a dessert yet to be determined.   Valentine's Day is every day but is made more special on the 14th.  I don't see any reason why it would interfere with work though. 🥰

Hi Raymond! I'm late to the party but, I worked all day long and actually arrived home at 6PM just in time to hop in the car with hubby for dinner!

Like you, my hubby always sends roses. This year he sent them to my office and it was a perfectly lovely day - both work and play! 

While we celebrate our love each and every day, I'm a big fan of Valentine's Day and making him feel even more special that day!
