All of my volunteer time and effort and support funds go to helping animals. 

We have walk-n-wags and events like food and supplies drives.  

No, after nearly 20 years of volunteering I've taken a break.  I did help a friend's holiday donation drive last weekend though.  He needed help with traffic control at the last minute and I have waaaaay too much experience with that.

I am part of a Runnin for Rhett MeetUp and we train and put on a 5k run for about 3,000 kids twice a year, The Run Because You Can.  We also put on the Capitol Beer Fest each year to fund the races. 

I make an event page on my website to promote local knowedge and share local events.

Skywest usually sponsors a derby here as well. It's a fantastic way to raise money and be entertained for the day!

Haven't personally participated since the Pig Races I sponsored. That was really a lot of fun. Very costly though.

The animal shelters & food banks get my support year after year - whatever event they are hosting!

I also participate in the Salvation Army's Women's Auxillary's Festival of Tables each year (not the last 2, sadly).

I backed local sports teams when my boys were in school.

I head the non profit for the 27th Annual Carmel Art Festival held here in Carmel-by-the-Sea every year.  60 top plein air airtists get juried in from all those who apply, and buyers come from around the country to purchase their fabulous art. A couple of days before the event opens, artists, who also come from all over, can be seen around Monterey County painting at least two paintings which are then put into the competition for prizes. In fact, the City Council approved the permit again for 2022 on Tuesday to once again include serving of wine at the opening event in Devendorf Park where the event is held.  Carmel-by-the-Sea started as an artists colony and this event reflects its past.  Galleries in town hold their own events during that weekend so it is quite a community gathering. 

Last Saturday, members of my Lions Club assembled bikes and scooters for Adopt An Angel. Adopt An Angel is a charity that provides gifts to kids who are in foster homes. Without the generosity of the supporters of Adopt An Angel, many of these children would have no Christmas gifts.

No major events, however I do spend some time with the homeless programs on a weekly basis.

I give to many different charities in particular food banks, diaper drives, clothing drives, animal shelters and others. I volunteer with my office each year at a designated event. While I will donate during the holidays, I reserve as much time as possible for my family since I work so much during the other 11 months of the year.
