1) DOM are increasing.  2) Selling price vs. List Price is generally above, however by a lesser percentage. 3) Less homes coming on the market with already a low inventory, but inventory is growing.

THis leads me to believe buyers are going to the sidelines and some homeowners have refinanced and want to sit it out as far as selling to avoid an increase in property taxes and to enjoy a lower house payment for a while.  Taking a breather.

Depending on the location and price point, the market I serve remains hot.

Price reductions if listed too high in the first place.

It is 2021 - soon to roll into the 2022 new year. Feeling blessed. I've had a good year.

I'm seeing some ridiculous over priced listings - as in ridiculous - for the areas I watch closely.  These DOM are going to go up and up until they get real.  And for other homes, priced right, mulitple bids still going on but perhaps not quite as high over list as 4 months ago.  We'll see where this goes.'s back to the future!   What year..... :)

My sellers want to be high and my buyers are asking for price reductions. Both being met with counteroffers. Seems normal when I say it like that but it’s more normal to me than either side I represent. Very low inventory and a little lower expectations of multiple offers with the prices sellers are asking. I’d still rather have listings. Ball is in their court and they command relatively good offers.

DOM is increasing in some parts, but very few price reductions... usually only on homes that were way overpriced to begin with.

A. We have virtually ZERO industrial and are chasing properties furiously! County is so backlogged we can't get permits fast enough to build for them but that's what we're doing . . . it's been 6 months to a year to get building permits!

I would say it is a little bit of all those things, the market as a whole is still on fire but some areas seem to be slowing down a bit.

We had been in a 5 to 6 month period of level prices in Elk Grove.  October numbers showed a $7,000 price increase over September.  Days on market did increase just a bit month over month, from 14 days to 18 days.

I was surprised because the Sacramento area showed pricing fall just a little.

In my neck of the woods, things seem to be stable. That being said DOM are up and we've seen some price reductions. Rates are up a bit too.

Change may be coming but it is too soon to know. If rates do go up, some buyers will drop out, thus closing, somewhat, the supply/demand imbalance. I also think some sellers who have been on the sidelines watching their home values rise will decide to sell out of fear that prices have peaked and will fall.

For the most part I would say B -- however, if I get a listing, they are stll selling on day 1, 2 or 3!  That's crazy!  Not complaining.

It usually tapers off this time of year & also depends if we have horrible weather. I'd want to stay on the listing side.

Showingtime divides up the country into 4 groups giving sales info. Maybe that would be of value to you.

The normal taper is going on with price reductions outpacing the increases by at least 2 to 1. Activity will take a dip until January 3rd then come on like gangbusters for the season. Hoping to see that agents have learned to evaluate their inventory with better accuracy.

Willing-buyer seller dynamics continue in this Real Estate cycle without interference of acts of God or man. There is still normal disagreement between appraisers and market value as usual with the market having the final say. Ownership has proven itself worthier over renting as renters are being gleaned for top dollar amounts supporting why not purchase dynamics  Not-buying is considered unwise by the many as a rollback to affordability seems unlikely. Note: the normal pausing at this time of year n buying/selling. The true and further testing of this cycle will be in the Spring 2022. That will reveal the strenght and continuation of this market
