No but there have been some odd things. Once my buyers & I were in a strangely shaped foyer with odd storage doors flanking the stairs. The one door slammed shut as we were standing there. We went outside as fast as we could.

Other time was in an open house & the buyer asked me if the seller had died in the house. I told her that the son told me she died in the hospital. Buyer says, well, she's standing right behind you.

There is an older historic house in town in which the oldest daughter of each family who has lived in it has died during their ownership.  I don't know if that counts as a haunted house or not.

One of my clients had to hire the local priest to exorcise a ghost that her buyer heard every night.  She (the new buyer)  was ready to sell the house against her agents advice.  The priest did his bit, and the ghost disappeared.  A

Some of those foreclosures, based on their appearance, may have been haunted.

Though we did have a tenant a few years ago think that the house may be haunted, it could have been drugs...

I do not believe in "'haunted". 

I believe in spirits.

I have been in, listed, and sold many homes where spirits were felt.

As far as I know, I have never even been in a haunted house.

Never sold a haunted house.  But the guy who used to live next door to me worked in the funeral industry.  He had a grave marker in his backyard for a cat.  He died several years ago - and the house has sold twice since.  The marker is still there.

       I showed a house where the name "Satan" was painted on the dog house in the back yard.  A call to the listing agent confirmed that was the name of the seller's Doberman Pinscher.  My buyer had no further interest in that house.

Well kind of.....I listed and sold a home in Paradise Valley on about an acre.  Beautiful home and guest house plus all the bells and whistles.  Next door to the home was a cemetary with about 100 or so graves.  The line was....well the neighbors are really quiet and don't don't cause any problems. But did they?  Who knows!!!

Personally I've not met any ghosts but our town has several homes that have been filmed by a few paranormal tv shows.   But, I did have a listing that was built in 1730 and it has a book written about it and its ghosts.  Mainly at Christmas, the spirits appear and express themselves.

I have sold some very old historic homes, said to be haunted, never witnessed anything unusual myself. Our office in Historic Downtown Frederick has a ghost which many have encountered over the 40+ years we have been here.

Not knowingly Marte Cliff , but sometimes there is just a feeling in a house.

No I haven't but like Anna Banana Kruchten CRS, CRB, Phoenix Broker mentioned above, some homes have positive energy and some have negative "dark" energy. When I enter a home that has negative energy, I don't spend much time there.

I did grow up close to a national cemetery. It was well kept and very lovely. I never saw any ghost there. Now my dad and my mother's parents are buried there.

I've had clients OK with living near a cemetery and others very much not OK with living near a cemetery. 

Sure have Marte Cliff ... One in Houlton ME where a couple owners saw the same woman in a rocker who had lost a child, would not leave the house even after her own death. One owner said home was always cold, no matter what the heat setting. But when the couple had a baby, brought the bundle of joy wrapped in blue home from the hospital, the ghost left, the home became easier to heat. (They also did a lot of insulation improvements to tighten up this FmHA purchased home but we'll blame the chill on the "house guest" that checked in but would wear out her welcome.) Sold another one four times over the career, a haunted Hodgdon ME home where the helpful ghost chewed through a lot of ROLAIDS.

No, though one in my town was allegedly haunted and was disclosed as such.  A haunted house tour company bought it and rented it out to thrill seekers.

I have not sold one (yet) but have shown a few homes in which some of my buyers said that they felt something in the home(s), saw a dark silhouette etc.  I always respect their opinion or "gift" and we just move on to a different home that they are comfortable with.

No but have gone into houses that were scary smelly with mystery stains smeared on the walls and carpet plus a basement that was filled with dirt, in some places mounded up and a padlocked door...creepy for sure!

Yes, I sold one of my own houses once because it was haunted

by my ex-wife's nagging - scarey stuff, had to sell! 😜😆😉 LOL

Not that I know of but I did have a somewhat "spooky" showing once in a very old, creaky and empty house where in one of the rooms there was a dried, almost black looking, rose laying in the middle of the floor. It was a bit weird. 

A- I've lived in a haunted house.  I had a recurring bad dream of being killed over and over in said house that I lived in for 9 months.

B- I showed a house once where we (my buyers and I ) all felt "creeped out" and my buyers daughter said (she was about 10), we can't buy this house it's filled with bad spirit.  She was "pushed" by no one off the steps when we were leaving.
