I have Calendar to mail out in November and Christmas cards for December and order already!

They said this morning on the news that we should start shopping now but WHY?

Nope. My head is still in summer AND I have all my Christmas/Holiday cards already.

All I do at that time of year is send holiday cards.

I used to make a big deal of Christmas but I think things have become way too commercial, especially now when the Christmas buying "season" starts right after Labor Day.  In recent years, the only Christmas cards I get are from vendors and others who want my business.  So I made the decision not to be one of them.  I pay attention to my good clients throughout the year so that they know I'm thinking about them.  Christmas, I leave them alone, don't make it a "marketing" opportunity, and spend time with my own family. But that's me.

It is a good idea to take advantage of the sales.

The thought of holiday cards entered my mind this past weekend while I was cleaning out my office.  It is now on my list of things to get done. I like to start addressing the envelopes in October doing 10 or so a day so that I am not dealing with so many all at once. 

My cards were purchased on December 26th of last year. My 2021 calendars have been in my storeroom since June.

It is wise to stay ahead on all that you can especially now...MFG from overseas is boggeed down from electronics parts, houselhold goods, TV's to cars, motorcycles, ski-mobiles, petty and luxury items. Prices are going up as demand increases and supplies stay in the slow lanes. 

I've been looking at emails from greeting card companies and will order about 500 once one of them strikes me right.

Working on just sold cards.

I have Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas cards sitting here and ready for me to address. 

Those days are behind me. Retirement has benefits

I try not to mix Holidays with business, your card will get noticed a lot more if you send it another time.
