5 agents, 10 years total? Does anybody there even have a Brokers license? 😎

Here in AZ that would be 3 years getting a brokers license.....and the rest of them are very new agents or any other variable.  I was once a new brokerage but I had 20+ experience back then ....big difference.

I would not worry about their marketing efforts.

Everyone has to start somewhere, right?  

Is anyone who wants to buy or sell really going to care?!

That would give me cause for pause.

Peter, if all the agents were around my age,  I would market over 300 years of life experience.     ^_~

I do not know if it is good marketing. 

People need to do their own due diligence and vetting before they hire anyone ... independent of any marketing fluff.

I do not have a problem with this, and I would assume that they have a broker in charge.  When we opened our firm, it was 4 of us, and Ron was the broker!  He had over 10 years of experience, and everyone else had over 6 years.   A

I don't think years of experience is the only indicator of how much you know.  I know people who have had a license for maybe a year who have incredible knowledge and done signifcant transactions.  Others who have had their license for a decade and know very little.

Years of experience is only one indicator of many that I would consider.

Client/customer testimonials?  Sales history and experience?

The 5 agents at our firm are more than 90 years... so yeah, there's that.

It is a normal practice for companies to use cummulative service. Usually, it is much longer than 10 years. Not necessarily a big fan. What about the newbie who only brings a week to the table?

Brings back memories to the very early days of our consulting company, boasting over 30 years of cumulative forestry experience in our team.

Now we have well over 30 years of actual experience.

Maybe you should consider joining them and boosting their numbers.

 Doesn't sound like there is a lot of experience. However, they could all be superstars.

There is a buyer for everything comes to mind...

I have learned to ignore other peoples marketing...too many dummies in our business.

The worst offices are the ones with the most agents who think they only need to learn how to talk a seller into listing with them.

Years in the biz means nothing if there is no advanced training...

My first broker was touted as a super star, untill I got educated...the more I learned, the more I realized how little he knew.

My favorite part of this business is how people come & go. About half are able to stick around while the others are a flash in the pan. There'll always be someone nipping at your heels and that's why I use my energy supporting #1 rather than others. They are going to do what's best for them no matter what my thoughts are.

If that were followed by "$500M in cumulative Sales" (+/- depending on area), then ok.

We probably think about this a LOT more than the average consumer.  Some think that size matters.  Some realize it's quality over quantity.   I think it's  weak marketing tactic but someone will bite. 

The number of new brokerages springing up is second only to the number of new licensees. Some will succeed and others will not.

Meanwhile, I will continue to do what I do.
