Fred,

When we had our commercial real estate comapny in Los Angeles, we had both FEDEX and UPS special rates.  We like FedEx's early morning delivery at 7:30AM for signing docs back East.  A

FedEx or UPS if it's a great distance.  I get tracking.

Fed Ex.  We have a corporate account and it makes it cheaper than the full price of the others.

UPS lately. A convenient store is nearby. Formerly FedEx.

I have accounts with both UPS and FedEx.  Both serve their purpose and are price competitive with my "corporate" discount.

What neither shippers are doing now and it does NOT set well with me ... is they charge $4.99 for signatures and they are not getting signatures ... they are both still just dropping packages at the door.  Maybe knock and drop but mostly, just leaving packages ... even packages with wine which in California, the law requires a signature.

I am calling Bull Crap on "contactless" delivery due to COVID. If you are not going to get a signature then don't charge me for it.  Thank you very much.

Fred Griffin Tallahassee Real Estate FedEx is my first preference, assuming the recipient is able to receive FedEx.

For those who cannot receive FedEx letters or packages, I will use USPS, although I have had things "disappear" from those entrusted with ensuring our last presidential election was fair. 😡

I think I prefer USPS if costs are about the same.  I have my ups and downs with FedEx and UPS.

I have no preference... often depends on where it's closest to me to send off the package.

I probably would send UPS, as we have a store not too far, and there is never a line, unlike the post office.

Depends on where it's going.

If it's just going to Vegas, I can do USPS Priority and it will arrive the next day.

If it's going to NYC . . . I'll use FedEx.

FedX is the most reliable. The others I've had to get money back for not delivering on time.

Everybody should use tracking now.

I am happy that technology has replaced our need for this now.

I used to have a box of UPS shipping supplies in the office, probably got thrown out when we moved into the city in 2008.

USPS certified mail is not delivering or not showing delivered for me. I have called and emailed, no response. They don't get my vote!

USPS bring to counter, get tracking. I will never use UPS driver pick up again, had them pretend to punch into the hand held brown computer and steal the package more than once, no receipt. Fed Ex has a nice early delivery, but more costly
