Candice,

I would ask at a kitchen store, they usually know the answers sometimes better than the manufacturer.  A

We have a glass-top electric oven and we use Ceramabryte and a special scrubbing sponge and razor blade tool designed for scratch-free heavy cleaning.

You can buy it at Home Depot.

?????? If I can't cook it on the grill or in the micro-wave, God did not intend it to be eaten. (cookies, pumpkin pie and Bratwurst in beer wold be the exceptions)
However, white vinegar and Arm & Hammer tends to solve all my surface problems.

Is this a glass top stove or do you have gas? Look into some essential oils. I heard of something called Thieves but not sure that will help you. We use products from the Melaleuca company that are really good.

Bar Keeper's Buddy (or maybe Bar Keeper's Friend).  I use that on my stainless to clean w/o scratching.

Magic eraser seems to work for me on a lot of things but I would test it first. The Kaywos cloth has also worked for me.

I read all the answers as I have no idea. We have a gas stove that is stainless and black and I use soap and warm water and it seems to work fine. I think that's what our cleaning lady used too - but I don't know!  I'll ask her, she is a whiz at this kind of question.

I would use what the manufacturer suggests.   Maybe do it a few times, and it gets as clean as you would like?

I don't have the same stove, but I clean my black stovetop with Weiman Stainless Steel Wipes. I use a little muscle power to make sure I've scrubbed every drop of anything. Then I go over the area with a paper towel. It works great.

There are cream based cleaners specific for such stoves available at most groccery stores. You rub it over the surface and use a utility blade to scrape off the residue and grime. The wipe clean with a papertowel. Never use anything abrasive.

I always used Ajax or Comet on a glass blacktop and gas burners, shined up perfectly.  Test first, I thought it might scratch or dull, never did.

Now would prefer natural ingredients if the product works as well.
