I don't think that many responsible parents with allow their children to be out in the neighborhood this scary Covidween night.

We do plan to set out a table with separately bagged packaged candies for those who may be out. It's candy that I like so I get to eat what is not taken.

Year after year, we made up 150 goodie bags with chips, chocolate bars, tootsie rolls, and a handful of gum, rockets, liquorish and a can of pop (rootbeer, grape and cherry soda) We would run out before the older kids arrived.  We've watched the kids grow up from little newborns.  We always did our house up like the Adams family and the kids insisted on heading here first, lol

This year out entire street has been under construction, no road, no sidewalks, no street lights and no access.  They're all going to be so crushed this year! (as will we!)

No one has ever knocked on our door trick or treating since we moved in 13 years ago - we are just too remote. I doubt that will change in COVID 2020.

Parents are being discouraged from letting their kids go door-to-door this year. There are some social distancing events in the area.  Me, I'm going to a birthday party that evening.  I rarely get anyone at my house anyway.

It's been years since kids came around, most go to gatherings which I suspect will still be happening.  I may put a cheap bowl out with some candy, but I'll probably get more ants than anything else.

Personally, I do my trick or treating on November 1st, when candy is 50-75% off!
