One of our clients did.  Her person was certain that the house was haunted.  Since our client knew she was a devout Catholic, she brought in the local priest to do an exorcism of the ghost...he did, and the woman did not hear the ghost again...A

Not I but I recall some stories from my real estate licensing classes and someone mentioned about the sale of Houdini's house back in the day.   Not haunted but I believe it might have been a part of the follow-up discussion.  

The house haunted by a deceased real estate agent who, prior to her demise, was terribly upset she was passed over for the listing.   The agent now roams the house pointing out items that were once the home's amenities.

A local board sued for injunction to prevent the dissemination of the story to protect the home's value and the reputation of the nationally recognized franchise.

Yes. A man that had dies was frequently seen leaving bed upstairs, and walking to a the window in front of house. Before selling it, we had renters in there, and the tenant finally asked if anyone had died in the house.

I have not, but there is an old house in town which has had multiple owners over the years.  During ownership by these unrelated people, the oldest daughter has died in various ways - sick, tragic car accident, etc.

my office had a murder house listed, but not aware it was haunted.

A haunting......let's see.  Kind of a haunting. This really old guy didn't like the fact that some person was moving into the neighboring property on 10 acres so he started doing crazy wacko stuff to scare them away and not buy the property. Course he got caught and went to a haunted jail. That's where the story really took off....

Not that I know of. 

There was once a 'happening' at an open house where a buyer came with her agent & asked me if the lady had died in the house. I said no because that's what her kids had told me. Then the buyer said, well, she's standing right behind you. I have to leave now & she left with her agent.

not that I am aware of, however, I did rent one once.

Not that I know of BUT I worked in a haunted movie theater as an usher, parking lot attendant, changed the marquee letters, & once a month scraped gum from the auditorium chairs and floors and washed the carpets.

One Saturday morning I was scraping gum and heard the front door open and footsteps up the stairway. There was a place in the auditorium where you could see into the mezzanine. I saw the office door open and close but saw no person. I ran up the stairs unlocked the office and no one was there. I looked everyplace...there was no one there!

Cteepy might be better tern than Spooky but you be the judge.  I'm not a fan of scary movies so did not see the movie.

I haven't sold one or even shown or heard of one but it has been on the RE/MAX of Valencia disclosures for decades as a question to the sellers of homes listed by the company.

I venture to say that all abodes have some dynamic we cannot see. Whether it be of a lingering positive dynamic like nature or a dark force unseen presence it can be sanctified by turning the subject property into a house of prayer. Prayer to God is the ultimate cleansing force... bar none by all....

Listing REO homes I have sold 2 murder homes. They are rare in NH and with my luck i got 2 in 10 years. One i did not know and the home was frozen in time with everything in it since the poor day.

However, some houses I sold haunted me.
Sometimes buyers love what they love and can hear nothing else.

Those sell for more in my area...  Some spirits have a hard time breakin' on through to the other side as Jim crooned. They are like the lingering house guest always late for the party. Not the first to arrive but the last to leave. It's a letting go, move along time management issue not a character flaw really Shannon Jones .

I had the Tyler Spite House listed years ago and my High School was in a Mansion " Prospect Hall " which is currently listed for sale, both are said to be haunted. Our office Building in Downtown Historic Frederick also has a friendly ghost which has  appeared to number of agents on late evenings over the years.

My next door neighbor's house has a grave marker in the yard for the cat.  The owner sold embalming fluid, so I always imagine he made a trade of sorts to acquire it.  It's from the last owner who lived there for probably 50 years.  No known ghosts.
