I do not put any thought or energy on second waves or more shutdowns ... my thoughts are positive in moving forward and the threat of COVID-19 behind us.

I'm not giving this a lot of thought or worry. North Carolina numbers are trending downwards and hopefully will stay that way.

For billions of years microbes, bacteria and amoeba have roamed the earth and all life-forms have learned to co-exist. If man was not meant to survive the encounter, we would all be gone by now. Shut-downs are from poor leadership and failure to act responsibly.  Life goes until it cannot. NOTE: Those that perform autopsy to determine cause of death discover multiple dynamics at work with either a direct impact or combination of failure & error with diseases finally having their way. Until then, we survive as intended and should act that part with confidence. Overcome not succumb

Yes, certain parts of Canada are seeing it now. I think there will be shut downs again not as great as before. We are starting to see things here, take a step back.

Yes, we are getting ready for another round, but not in the schools.  I think the next round will be in the high-risk areas where people have isolated and are now tired of their own company--when they start getting back out we will see another spike. This one will be for a shorter time with less people involved.

In some areas yes we still have not got it under control in Florida.

C-19 is now part of the environment.

The right question to ask, "Now that nature is responding to over-population, is the population going to apply the discipline needed to develop lean, robust bodies?"

It's a possibility I have preparred for.  I fully expect a ressurgence during the flu season.

Flu season is upon us again and only a matter of time before the Wuhan flu is a thing of the past. 

I'm not sure we've completed the first wave.

We will never get through the first wave until we ALL start taking the precautions seriously.

As many of the viruses being manmade and the human body is able to adapt to them, who knows what else the idiots have coming down the road!

This pandemic just keeps rolling along without an end to phase one.  There will need to be a cure or there won't ever be a phase two.

I think it's here to stay and perhaps someday there will be a vaccine.  I also think the treatment (early intervention) is key in people living through it and that many many died because doctors sent them home the first time they went to the ER and gave no treatment at all.  

The only people routing for a second wave is the media and the politcians looking to scare people. When a pandemic nears it''s end, it gets less deadly and easier to catch. With a 99.96 percentage recovery rate the stats everyone should look at are new hospitaizations and deaths, Here in NH we have only had 3 deaths in the last 3 weeks, all in Long term facitities. There is only 13 people in hospitals in the whole state. 

In many places, the first wave never ended. Luckily, we've only had around 9-10 cases in Lovettsville that I know about.

Oh, I hope not but between flu season and the snowbirds returning, it is definitely cause for concern here. I don't think we will see more shut downs if there is a second wave but there may be some businesses that decide to voluntarily cut their hours or close to protect their health and that of their employees.

It is time to move forward with the economy and assume the risk while taking safety precautions. We have seen some case spikes but mortality is down.

If gov tries lockdown again, the people will take it back to the courts.

No, I'm not buying into their predictions which have been pretty much wrong.

Yes, as is natural with flu season approaching and people being fed up with shelter in place orders.  Thankfully, the more data gathered the more it appears to not be a devastating virus for MOST of the population.  Not that it's not serious (and very serious for a segment of the population), but eventually the shut downs have to end.

nope, I don't think we're headed for more shut downs.  I think the president just showed the right theraputics will let you survive this, now the freaking CDC and FDA need to get on board with letting doctors use drugs that work.
