Since I am a California resident for my whole live, I know nothing about the Utah Exemption Act. I did a quick internet search and there is lots of information on-line.

I know nothing about Utah, but I do want to commend you on the approach you are taking. Not only do you have the school material, plus what Google delivers but you chose to get some 'where the rubber meets the road' feedback from real estate professionals. 
Maintain the same discipline as you grow your business and you will develop a brand voice that will be uniquely yours. That voice conveys, "here is what the books say," "this is what the gurus say," and "this is what it really means to you."
