I know what is right for my family and I and I've acted accordingly.

We hike every day, maskless and get fresh air. We limit exposure to other people and gathering places and only grocery shop (with masks) once per week. We're enjoying this more the last 40 days than the first 25. But, much has changed for the better.

Making good, informed decisions, creating fun memories and looking back feeling proud of  our behavior, how we did it our way, while still helping others.

well what's best for one family might not be best for another.  My parents are staying home.  I am working, my daughter and her husband are working.  I think we all have to take personal responsibility and find out own path.

Carry on I can do half my business from a laptop. I miss not going to signings, having clients come in and use the copier (even long after their  deal was closed) I had clients pop in on the 7th floor to get free Peet's coffee, snacks and ask us to scan or print something. I purchased plastic medical face shields and gallons of isopropyl alcohol. I am not going in any crowds or lines or elevators ( so no office for a while which is open concept and crowded). All pieces have a work around

carry on for me and my family, but no judgement for others doing what they feel is best.  Don't really like the government interference though.

We have continued to list and sell houses throughout this Pandemic. Different methods have had to be embraced to continue to safely and legally work.

I think people make too big of a deal over staying home. Other than a little boredom, I have found no reason to risk my life or anyone elses just to go out to eat. Perhaps it has to do with the rules we have had in place in AZ. But we have been able to go to the grocery store, we can visit friends and family and we can go for walks in the neighborhood. I can order a pizza or do curbside if we don't want to cook. I can give up bars, sporting events and concerts.

I have showed houses, with proper precaution, (although I screen them more diligently). I have done Zoom meetings and made a lot of phone calls, so I am busy.

Mayra, This question was also asked in the Wash Post Stay home or carry on?  Everyone is digging deep to see what is best and appropriate for their circumstances.  This is not a one-size-fits-all sitution.  What I keep learing is that fear is not the voice I should follow.

I am carrying on.  We have worked way too long and way too hard to let this situation threaten what we have achieved.

Dining at restaurants has returned to Florida!

     "Go food" never tastes as good, plus no service (DIY at home).  It is so nice to eat inside restaurants again!  Service, ambience... relaxation.

I'm all for everyone deciding for themselves. As for me, I will err on the side of caution because I have serious respiratory issues.

Trust more in the inner sources than the outer...You KNOW best. Don't doubt

We stay home unless we are able to avoid crowds. My son is an essential worker so he doesn't have a choice. 

I take my cattle dog down to the waterfront. So far it has been easy to avoid crowds given the amount of space available. Will be interesting to see if this weekend brings in tourists and associated crowding. If so, we'll go for a hike in the hills/forest by our house.

I am conflicted it seems every week on one option or another. It looks like we will be going full out here after the holiday. I'm in IL, our governor is an asshat.

Still say home in CA, we can make appointment, but have to sign forms and follow carefully the showing requirements, and only if the property is vacant ( no showings for occupied homes). 

If you feel you need to stay home, stay home.

If you do not feel the need to stay home, don't.

This is not a 'one size fits all' solution and it never was.

While I'm unlucky that I live in NY and immunocompromised, I'm lucky that I can work from home.  (i'm not a realtor and I no longer do flooring...I mean I would have done a few flooring jobs for fun, but no not now.)

We continue to work hard, and SMART.  Follow the precautions and avoid being around people who are not that smart.

Following the state's guidelines and taking care not to be one who spreads the virus.

I am still confident this was blown way out of proportion but, it costs me nothing to take precautions to protect my family and the community. So, that is what I will continue doing.

Mayra Espinosa Realtor San Mateo Pacifica Homes The reason for the difficulty is the hype from the media and the politicians making it a political issue. For me, I think it's all been overblown. I've lived through 2 previous pandemics that has killed over 100,000 Americans and we never shut down anything.

I think it's interesting that in NYC they found that people sheltered inside had way more instances of infection. In MA and other states over 60% of deaths have occurred in long-term care facilities. 

In the end, you have to use common sense since we are witnessing a severe overreach in many states and municipalities. AND ALL of Congress should be voted out.

We are staying at home in the social distancing mode.

Being retired we can stay at home almost all the time. Best for us but not for many!

I may be different that most of you, but I stay home. I was never a fan o& restaurants or bars, and I don't care to get sick for the sake of going out to eat. I do not feel confined since My home is on 5 acres and my street has only 2 houses on it. For me, I wear a mask and gloves when I go out, and while I'm tired of all the media, I happen to think it's a good thing, since most people are to dumb to listen to any more advice. Life has not changed here other than being careful if I go out. And about the government telling me what do do, well they do that all the time anyway. Go out and party, or stay at home, it's your choice but I err in the side of common sense and safety. Time will tell if we made the right choices, but at lease I will be around to wittiness it
