Our local paper cut production to 5 days quite some time ago. We don't get delivery on Sunday or Monday. The so-called Sunday paper is published and delivered on Saturday.  It hasn't changed due to COVID-19

No, not yet; local town paper has always been weekly and New York Times continues to publish daily.

In Harrisburg, PA ( State Capital) the Daily paper comes out 3 times per week

Newspapers have been a dying industry long before this crisis hit.

You know I have no idea Bob!  I quit reading the local papers so long, long ago and don't even know if there is one printed now - seems like it would be online. I do recall back in around 05 to 07++ that real estate advertising had gone down almost 90% or more. Time brings change....

I don't know, we only buy the Sunday paper, which although smaller than usual, still arrives weekly.

I cut mine back to nothing. Had to give it up because the people delivering it were so inconsistent. Besides, they had cut the size down and reduced print size so much I just gave up on them.

Our local paper is going through bankruptcy at the moment.  It is unclear what they will have to do to survive.  We have the online subscription with delivery only on Sunday.  This week the paper did not come until Monday.

What is a newspaper?  I gave up on watching or reading the news a long time ago and I am happy that I did.

The size of newspapers has been sighs-worthy for a long time in my opinion.  Rather sad.  

Tampa Bay Times now delivers hard copy TWO days a week.

No... or at least not yet, Bob. Charlotte Observer cut their Saturday edition long before the pandemic.

Our local newspapers no longer exist. We read The Washington Post.

We have a weekly PineCone which is the main LOCAL news source and we all support its continuation. The Monterey Herald for the whole Peninsula is also going strong. The quarterly luxury Carmel Magazine is hurting and had to postpone it's last printing. Again, we, the real estate community, are all supporting it but at a much lower rate. I'm putting together a one-page ad right now for two Pebble Beach listings.

SJ HG News was one of the most profitable newspapers in the US. I was surprised to see ex-reporter carrying revolver and 2 clips standing in front of a government social service buildings. She says she is hoping become a government employee as her contractor's job for several years does not have insurance.

Three local, rural papers were purchased by the publisher. To save costs they are combining their operations. Waiting to see if it means we will have a region-wide weekly or twice a week paper. It was 2x per week before the purchase.
