I have no need for masks.  Therefore there is no need for me to look for them. I am not concerned.

We have plenty of .223 caliber munitions.

Don't cough near me!

And we have good stocks on masks made in China.

Last week she visited the bank wearing a surgical mask and shades. The teller hit the 'panic' button immediately. That ruined the citizens day.

Do youi know where one is lawfully permitted to go when they have twarted the facial recognition systems? It is more important to know where you CAN NOT go wearing a mask. Does anyone really know?

In my region of FL it is unlawful to wear a mask during the commission of a crime (DUH).....and many other times and places that no one knows until others what to ambush.

Cleaned out in Southern California. My daughter (surgeon) says the masks are not that useful - about 10% protection. Hand washing is #1 and do it EVERY time you are in public. #2 do not touch your face. Sit on your hands if you must retrain yourself. #3 say away from coughing people and tell them to cough into their elbow. #4 Eat leafy greens, garlic, lots of vegetables and do all the healthy things you know like ~ be happy. Love 'ya Sam

Hand washing (to the Alphabet song twice), coughing/sneezing into your bent arm/elbow and taking a daily boost of Vitamin C & Zinc and you'll be fine - as long as you're otherwise healthy.

If you're immunocompromised, then a mask may be in order but, I would consult your physician and have them take care of getting them for you and further guiding you in prevention/self-care.

I would not want to risk taking masks from medical personnel and patients who need them. The public is over-buying because of media hyper-sensationalism; it worries me that the public is taking from those who REALLY need them.

Sam, I have no idea.  I'm just keeping up my immune system with extra supplements of organic Vitamin C and D3 and getting plenty of rest.  The CDC estimates that between 12,000 and 60,000 have died per year from the "regular" flu since 2010 so I am not really concerned at this point.

I cannot find any, maybe they are still available on line.  I was at Costco today and they were almost out of toilet paper.  I also see many people piling up on kleenexes and bottled water.

There are plenty to go around. Though there are 2 people from St. George that contracted the Coronoa virus, they got it aboard a cruise ship.

You need masks only to protect others from you (if you're ill)

When we look back at the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) epidemic that struck in 2003, researchers concluded that face masks played some role in slowing down the spread — especially in a hospital setting — but mostly because they prevented sick people from passing SARS around. In fact, most people in Asia wear the masks not to avoid getting sick themselves but to protect other people from harmful germs and viruses.

PS When so many are running around buying any type of mask when there is no need, they are creating a shortage for those of us who need them for daily medical treatments.  Thankfully, mine are supplied by my hospital but I'm worried they'll not have access soon if people continue to disregard the reports.

I hear that China stopped making them due to a shortage of workers, it may be a while before this shelf is restocked.

Find an alternative if you need a mask.

I have no clue, and I haven't seen anybody with a mask on out and about. I have no need for a mask, I've never had a flu shot and never will. Can't remember last time I had 'a flu'. And I spend many Sundays in casinos which are breeding grounds for typhoid snowbirds LOL
The only thing I'm susceptible to is BS especially from the media.
Astralagus, elderberry, zinc lozenges, and even

There are plenty of masks available around here, but not sure about N95? Check you local masonry supply places, auto body shops, exterminators, Home Depot, Lowes, Health Dept, etc. You might be able to order them from 3M or Ace Hardware, etc. https://www.acehardware.com/departments/tools/workwear-and-safety-gear/respirators/2898245
