Not a fan of NAR; if there was a survey, I probably just deleted it. Certainly sounds a bit intrusive; don't understand to what end NAR would need this sort of information.

Haven't received this survey. I'm seeing a lot of questions lately in real estate forums about people bringing pets to showings so maybe it's become a "thing".

I did receive it, but have not done it yet-not sure I will based on what you are saying. Maybe it's regarding their pet insurance? We actually use NAR's pet insurance discount for our Peroni.

All surveys are used to profile, your info bought and sold as pointed out by Harvard professor, Shoshana Zuboff.

Stay away unless you need to complete bank survey after 2 bank tellers stand around talking trash, NOT business, behind counter while you, the last customer, wait to be served as the clock ticks minutes past closing time.

Everybody in now in the business of SELLING information.

NAR needs income not dependent on the REALTORS they betray. In doing so they do what everyone else is doing, betraying those who live unaware.

Who would not want to subscribe to a database of 1.5 million professionals who have history of buying any shiny thing.

  1. Not sure if I received a survey from NAR or not but I usually reply to surveys with some hesitations. For them to ask "Are you a pet person" seems weird though. The question that might cross my mind is "Why"?
