More than half my business comes from referrals of current or past clients. Many more come from referrals of other agents. The internet is important, but has to be used correctly to attract and get clients.

10% of my new business comes from the internet.

90% by repeat & referral, however only 25% of my communications during a work week are by phone & text, 75% by email, social media & text.  So I'd say it's vital in 2020, where is was not even a factor of more than 5% in 1999 when I started.

Back in the 30's and 40's, they had guys with signs strapped around their necks displaying ads on both side of the person as they walked up & down streets. It worked. Today, it is the Internet & it works too. How much? Who knows? Finding what works for YOU is the key that opens the doors
