Over the years I have used CRMLS, FLEX and MRMLS.  There are advantages and disadvantages to everything in life, isn't that true? Learning curves offer challenges. 

Sounds like a wise move, the more these mls's merge the more exposure for your listings.

I'm part of Conejo Simi and we're members of CRMLS.  I'm not a fan of datashares in general.  They allow people to muck up your data and be unaccoutnable for it.

I am not familiar with CRMLS Michelle. I would like to see what other that have experience can give you pros and cons. 

The platform is phenomenal.  The benefits include being able to search and list in many communities.  The drawback is others can search and list in your community.  I just left a board in Los Angeles County and joined a board in Orange County even though I'll be working in Los Angeles County.  CRMLS allows me to do everything locally and belong to a company located eighty miles away.  Blessing or Curse?  You make the call.

We have it here in San Diego and I am fine with it. It works pretty well most of the time. See what Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor e-Pro, CRS, RCS-D, Vets says - I don't disagree with him.

I under utilize CRMLS, but there are many resources on it as a plus.

As a minus it's very busy dare I say complex and could be more user friendly.

Our AOR/MLS is a member or CRMLS. I don't remember ever using it.

We also have access to several other MLS systems. In some cases, the ability to go into another, neighboring MLS is valuable. We have listed properties in adjoining MLS systems in order to make our listings more easily understandable and relevant to agents in those geographic areas.

I have experience with two large regional MLS systems and a mid-size association / MLS. I looked seriously at getting a California license as I grew up there, spend time there and have family property there. I researched CRMLS and it seems to be very good.

In general, your larger MLS systems offer a lot that can benefit you. I would watch the available videos and carefully review the other resources available to you.

For many reasons, consolidation is the trend that isn’t likely to be stopped.

Many ,mergers are taking place. Go with the flow.
