I use IDX Broker and I am happy with them. 

I create my own website and integrate IDX Broker. 

I had IDX Broker for a long time, satisfied with results. Monthly fee.

Switched this year to Realtyna, small security issue resolved but satisfied with results so far! One time set up, no monthly.

I have a custom built IDX and nothing I've had in the past compares. He's retiring soon or I would offer his name!

I had Diverse Solutions in the past, and despite the bad rap they got, I was very pleased with their product and got a ton of leads from them.

I also like Davis Farrell - I don't know if they are in Dallas or not.

IDX Broker

I'm not a huge fan of the cookie cutter ones like IDXBroker and such.  They're great looking products, I just don't want to have the same look, feel and (most importantly) data displayed as everyone else out there using that tool.

Now while I don't have an IDX, I did look into it a few times.  I did not see a significant (or even marginal) boost to SEO back when I used it, but my site wasn't as active with traffic then either.  I may try it again with some manually imported data (not good for long term viability, but for testing it's fine enough).

Any IDX solution out there needs a lot of continuing SEO work to produce results. No solution will make your website rank out of the gate.

I have experience with IDX Broker and Real Geeks. Both are good.
IDX Broker needs another service to integrate it with a website or you have to do it yourself.
RealGeeks is a complete solution - IDX, website, CRM, Social Media.

A few things that are important if you want any organic traffic:
- fast-loading website.
- ability to add area pages (RG) or saved links (IDXb) - this is where your traffic will come from.
- SEO-friendly URLs, e.g., yoursite.com/colonial-homes-for-sale-in-boston/

Another good solution is Real Estate Webmasters, but be ready to give some body parts :)

The best IDX is the one that is already ranking for your local market and getting all the leads. You can actually see your competition and actually inspect any real estate website code to see their IDX/ framework in use.
