I am a subject of recruiting on a regular basis. So what, I say! If I'm ready to listen, I'm ready to listen. If not, who cares?

I know many of those who were recruited.  Some went and some did not. And I agree with both Michael Jacobs and Nina Hollander .  The only ones loving this episode of as the World of Real Estate Flip Flops are the attorneys who will be buying million dollar homes after the dust settles....A

It happens all of the time, Caroline - weekly, at least. I have no intention of moving but, if I did, it would be on my own will. I don't burn bridges though - just politely decline!

Realogy has been trying to recruit me and my brokerage since we started buisness 9 years ago.  I have said no every time.  

Compass did not reach out to me, but C21 and Re/Max have both wanted me to run offices for them and some KW agent tried to sell me on them at one point too.  No thanks.

I'm not ready to be recruited.  Too many things to take care of and the least I have in mind is to move to a different brokerage, at least for now.

Seems like we live in an age of constant lawsuits.

one broker owner told me decades ago that he was afraid to recruit me because if I took the job of manager, no one would ever listen him again in his office....LMAO

Yes,  but I have no reason to leave. I have a great situation where I am.

I get asked at least once  or twice a week by someone who wants to recruit me.... and I just thank them and let them know I am  happy where I am.... of course this happens to most agents who have lots of listings....Endre

I know a number of people who have joined Compass, and others who were not asked during the acquisitions. Some who were asked did not go.  Got a call just the other day (not Compass).

Any agency that wants to recruit me I don't want to belong to. Riffing on Groucho Marx.

It is funny how many times a week there are efforts to recruit me. I work for myself and match the volume of some moderate size franchises. It is funny to hear their pitches when most do not know me, just my numbers. My question is always what can you do for me that i do not already have? AND with the law suits, only the lawyers win

Yes & I am not interested. They did get a few good people to broker their new offices.

Lucky for me I have never been bothered.

Retirement has its benefits. Recruiters know it would be a waste of time. 

I get a number of emails for recruiting, but the delete button is my friend.

I get at least 2 recruiting calls a week.
