I tried one of those frozen turkeys Will Hamm and broke a tooth .

Actually I am participating in multiple Thanksgiving Day celebrations.  As a guest, I am definitely bringing an appetite.  And a bit of restraint as well.

I'm not cooking, but I know it's a fresh turkey from Stu Leonard's in Connecticut.

1.5 POUND LOBSTER TAIL! With lemon and clarified butter! 

It literally takes up the entire plate . . . 

We're going to a neighbors house so I have no idea (except for the veggies I'm bringing). My guess? Fresh turkey. Or venison. Or elk. Or something similar. I'm going with a grumbling stomach and will love whatever it is!

Probably no turkey for me.  Plenty of other good food to eat, why waste room on something I can get every day?

Be celebrating with like minded carnivores and having a really great time giving not a care regarding vegans or veggians and all those take your shoes off at the door and don't vaccinate my kids  and my dog has more consideration that the homeless human folks.. Standing rib roast, baked ham, rotisserie chicken, as the year passes I will have a piece of them all.

Since I am the designated Turkey maker, my day will be tightly scheduled starting with a 10k run with 12,000 of my closest friends.

Bought the frozen Butterball last Friday so it could thaw in the refrigerator. Ready to go!

Frozen as there are only going to be me, Phyllis and three people that do not have family or a place to go.

In the past, I have been organized and ordered a fresh turkey and other years, it's been a frozen turkey.  This year, even though Thanksgiving is late in the month, I'm still not ready so it's homemade spaghetti and meatballs!

I actually had a turkey I was raising, his name was dinner, true story. Actually this year I bought an organic turkey should be good my wife is a great cook.

Frozen is tough to eat.

There were two turkeys for the gathering...fresh from the store...and adequate left-overs to be enjoyed.

Usually fresh, but this year one of our daughters ordered a special, organic, free-range, "humanely-raised" turkey and it came frozen. Very expensive...

I thawed that bird out and he was very tasty.
