That one-size-fits-all statement/quote is an oversimplification. It is a starting point for discussion.

If by unreasonable we mean those who don't comply- people who create positive change make a useful impact on the world. People who just bitch & complain how they don't like things but offer no solutions are a drag on society.

I think many of our planet's problems are from the unreasonable trying to adapt the world to themselves. They can't take criticism, so they need their "safe places" and coloring books as adults because "the orange man" won the Presidency. They can't take not being a "winner" in life, so they've done away with scores in games and everyone gets a trophy now. They get a degree in underwater basket weaving and spend most of college partying then wonder why they're unemployed and want the government (and thus the gainfully employed tax payers) to pay for their 4 year party.
Too many unreasonable people in this country, they need to get a healthy dose of reason. Guess what, there are no jobs out there for "Women's Studies" majors. But there are plenty of jobs out there for people with science, engineering and math degrees. Be reasonable and get a degree where you will become a contributing member of society and not one where you can at best hope to have a job where you ask "do you want fries with that?"

It may take the unreasonable man to make changes necessary to be successful. I can see the reasonable man as just going with the flow whether it is right or wrong.

This related to real estate as well. There are reasonable buyers that learn the market and find a home they like within their budget. There are also unreasonable buyers that have a budget and want their dream home to fit their budget even if it is valued at thousands above their budget. One of my mentors told me at the start of my career "there are buyers that that buy within the market and those that want to make the market" Know the difference.

No matter what it is, you need to adapt to succeed. It includes, business, sports, life and politics. You dont have to look far to see failures of those who wont adapt but demand everyone else to change

Sounds like a narcissist to me:
- Grandiose sense of self-importance. ...
- Lives in a fantasy world that supports their delusions of grandeur. ...
- Needs constant praise and admiration. ...
- Sense of entitlement. ...
- Exploits others without guilt or shame. ...
- Frequently demeans, intimidates, bullies, or belittles others.
No thank you!

My faith is in another man who said he was not from this world and that this world is not where his kingdom exists. He gave me "the Great Commission" to reach others for his purpose.
