I am an S-Corp. That's all I will say about it in public forum. My finances/tax structure and rationale for same otherwise are no one's business.

As for tax advantages/liabilities you are better off consulting with a tax specialist and CPA.

The brokerage I purchased years ago was an S- Corp and my accountant felt it was a good fit so it remained an S -Corp until I sold it Manuel Angeles . The best advice for this would be your CPA and if you do not have one seek one out who has RE experience.

I don't have a brokerage but I am set up as an S Corp for my real estate biz.

As other's have mentioned - it's best to contract a good local CPA for guidance on such a question/situation.
