I have sold them as detached in-law suites (granny flats). They are either built after the lot/house sale or already existing as a detached suite. We have an entire neighborhood of tiny homes here and they are absolutely adorable but, I haven't had a buyer for one yet!

Hey, I'm in the market for a lot at the lake and adding a tiny house when (& if) I find the perfect lot!

If by tiny you mean under 1,000 sf then, yes...  it's not always medium-extra large.

Does size matter? All depends who's going in.

Have not sold a tiny house here in Wisconsin other than about 20 years ago I sold a 1 bedroom 400 SF 2 story house. I considered that a little house -- back before tiny became a trend.  Not sure it will take off here.

A tiny house is not real estate, it is a motor vehicle licensed as a trailer under the laws or our state. If the tiny house has no wheels and is set on a foundation on land, it is real estate. It then most likely has a sewer system, fresh water system and is hooked up to a utility to provide electricity.

I doubt that I will ever sell a tiny home since I an not in the mobile home sales business.

It was 378 square feet on five acres, solar panels. It was considered a cottage, our MLS does not have an input for tiny house.
