I'm tired of all these idiotic investigations. If they advertised solely on NPR would there be an investigation? Afterall, the CFBP is Elizabeth Warren's baby. Not to be political, but just sayin'...

If a legal businss opts to advertise on a legal radio station (they must believe this would benefit their business), what is the reason anyone would investigate it? Its all legal. All common sense is going down the drain.

Would you expect the politicians to do something that required them to think first!

There's seemingly no end to investigations.  Of all kinds and varieties.   I  try not to think about certain things including many investigations.  

I'm pretty sure most of us are WAY DONE with investigations. DONE! And those are our tax dollars.....

I'm confused about the redlining message. These are the largest AM stations in the Chicago area so how is that redlining? The market & territory is huge.

Also, don't get the political mention or political intent on mentioning a cop was mugged or attacked. That is just general news.

I suspect that there is more to the story.

Did they ever stop to consider liberals listen to know what conservatives are saysing.  I know I listen to "the other side".  I personally think it's BS and they can put their advertising dollars wherever they want.

Just because I listen to NPR doesn't mean I'm a liberal. Also, because I listen to Rush Limbaugh doesn't mean I'm a conservative.

I'm not the 'target audience' projected for either one of those stations. Does that mean I can't purchase from any of the businesses advertising on either show?

It would be completely ignored if they only advertised on a liberal radio station.  Poor politics.

Is it a publicly available/accessible radio station?  I suppose people make a choice to listen or not listen to it? 

As Nina Hollander wrote. People need to grow a thicker skin! CFPB can disappear and we would all be the better for it

I'd rather not be political in this forum. All I'll say is this; There is a faction attempting a full-scale assault on our system of government, a constitutional Republic and we must stand against it.

As Forrest Gump would say "And that's all I have to say about that"

The governement condoned and participated in politcial investigations to target their foes and there is no surprise it spread to state and local levels as well. I too along with many are tired of the inestigations. The man stream media has not figured that out yet. 

Someone woke up in a bad mood and set a ridiculous course of action. It is government work!

Where would we be without all these victums? It used to be Americans would reject the victum label because it implies weakness and Americans are anything but weak. Now, everyone is a victum as soon as something does not go their way. We are turning into a country of weaklings.

Who is going to investigate the investigators?

The law speaks on this....

One, the lender should produce an internal documen stating exsctly what his lending policy IS and two, he should stick to discussing loans when on public radio, if that was the original intent.  If he is trying to effect change in his community, he should do that via legislative channels and as an individual, not under the name of his company.

How can this  be a Violation? They spoke on a public radio station, so how can this be redlining since anyone can listen to the radio. Seems the CFPB needs more money and it shows that they are doing something to warrant their worth. There must be more to the story than is printed here
