Sadly, providing true, world-class customer service is not the norm in our profession and that is always the 'remarkable' part of the experience that my clients comment about in the 3rd party reviews that are sent to them. 

I recently told one of my millennial sons that if he were to get out of the corporate world and hone in on a trade - say electrician - his mission, after leaning the trade, would be to ALWAYS answer his phone and ALWAYS be on time. Doing a good job is 'average' but, finding someone in most trades who is dedicated to customer service, makes them superior...and virtually alone at the top of their trade. Their business would be booming in NO time! 

Again, sad but, true.
