In Ohio, four classes, Saturdays and Sundays for 10 weeks, 160 hours, max allowed was 8 hours in a day.

For Kentucky, it was reciprocated, so all I had to do was pass the exam, no courses required until post licensing.

It's been some time since I attended but it seems as if some of the "students" visiting the Q&A section are getting close to qualifying for benefits they will never receive/qualify for if they are ever licensed.

Retired, but I'm still learning after a few decades in the industry. I recall roughly 45-90 hours for a pre-license course in the states I've been in.

It depends if you are doing classroom or online. I did classroom nights and weekends and it took two weeks. Since online is self paced, it depends on the individual's motivation and commitment.

Pre-license: 75 hours.  Did mine all on line at my own pace in 1999 while employed fulltime in corp Amercia.  Took 4 months.

3 day "crash course" for state exam.

Some college and universities offer four real estate degrees.

In contrast, cosmotologists are required 1000+ hours, per my salon owner Mom.

It has been a long time since I went to school for my license. It was a weekly class until I discovered the same school taught in different location, different segments of the class, so I went twice weekly to cut down the time. It took several weeks.

Now, I am sure you can do it on-line.
