My fondest memory with my son on Mother's Day was 2012 when we jumped out of a perfectly functioning airplane.  What a blast!

I have no over-riding special memories... my Mother's Day celebrations with my mother and grandmother were all special and since my mother passed 21 years ago, quite a long time ago.

When I was a kid, my mother made the best pancakes plus it was all you can eat too. She also did a memorable pan-prepped grilled cheese and so many more dishes that my mouth waters at the thought. She shared herself.....the greatest memory of all...to know and be known

The cookies, donuts, home made treats waiting when my three older brothers and I got home from school. Walking up the farm house driveway after getting off the bus and ta da... something always waiting for us for a snack before whatever chores that day. Mom was from a family of eleven and also born on a farm like my dad.

My first Mother's Day. My son was christened and we had family time. My dad was still living and sent me a lovely bougainvillea plant for my first Mother's Day. My Mother in Law was still living and we all went to her house for lunch.
