I used to but, only a handful actually did anything with it. Some return on occasion and post something but, very rarely.

I would have to like the new agent an awful lot.

Are you talking about Active Rain? No, I do not. Then again, I don't have many interactions with new agents, in general. I also think this is the kind of platform where someone has to be self-motivated and really want to be participative. Way too many like the idea of it and sign up and then quickly disappear.

Yes & most are afraid to blog. I have really given up way over 10 years ago. 

Sure, AR is a good source for learning & networking. 

I have in the past but I haven't referred anyone to AR in 3 or 4 years and only casualy mentioned it to other agents 2 or 3 times in that time span. Mostly because I just haven't thought about it and it wasn't too sucessfull back when I was promoting AR quite a bit. Not many, if any folks I recommended are still active.

No. That's up to them and their own initiative to research and decide.

I used to but none of the people I invited seemed to "get it", so I let them stay in their fog.

New agents?

Absolutely not!

Why? The agents participating on AR are winter agents and have a business based predominately on referrals. This has little relationship to new agents nor does the opportunity exist to provide ACTIONABLE guidance to a new real estate agent.

For a newbie, AR can prove to be a real time-hole. 

Now, when a newbie that has demonstrated they will make rain wherever they land, for these, AR can provide the opportunity to ask concise and intelligent questions and get a few answers that are not summed up with "I keep my eyes on my paper" or 'Raise the bar.'

I don't really discuss things of any consequence with new agents.  I would if the subject came up.

I used to years ago but while a good number seemed interested most never did, and only a few that joined ever did any writing.

Sometimes, but very rarely anyone is interested. I guess, it is much easier to post a picture on FB or IG.

I don't interact too much with new agents.  If I did, like Candice A. Donofrio said, I'd have to like them an awful lot especially since they'd be competing with me directly (and let's face it, most importantly they'd be challenging me for points).

Not unless they really enjoy blogging. No, AR sadly a shell of what it once was and too much hostility for newbies.

Yes. Unfortunately most agents in our office use SOI and few if any bother with a website. It is mostly referall except those wanting a billboard next to a freeway billboard next to Redfin -1% listing fee billboards.

Sometimes. Most are not interested.

Not many stick with it.

I try to get them to join that they can learn from others.
