Do you mean how does it compare to residential? It doesn't!

You can't even compare the two in any way. It will take you years to have the same kind of client flow that you would have in residential. The deals are generally bigger, but they take a lot longer to pull together.

Your clients typically have bigger pockets, real estate directors, low tolerance for mistakes, and attorneys at the ready.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

If commercial real estate is your interest, then please begin taking classes to develop your knowledge.

in both residential and commercial number of transactions and profitability will be directly proportional to how hard and how smart you work.

Your question is very unclear...assume you are trying to compare commercial to residential?

If so, there is NO comparison...commercial involves dealing with investors and is much more complicated than residential.

You cannot base commercial on the number of clients per month and profitability so if that is important to you, stay with residential.

Commercial deals comes in all sizes and complexity so it is best left to those with the training, knowledge, experiences and ability to succeed in it.

You can have 1, 10 or 100 clients which does not mean anything unless they are buying or selling something that actually closes. In commercial it can be only 1 clent that takes all your time for a year and you close a $10,000,000 mall.

If you are not a CCIM and mba move on. There is no room for inexperienced realtor thinking they can get into commercial business without extensive connection. If you show their listings chances of getting paid is not good. I kid not you.
