You mean the "unresponsive file manager," Fred? It's agony uploading anything! It's agony waiting for a photo to pop up under the search funtion, no matter how well labelled. I have no clue what to do. Every day when I go through that agony I think very seriously of abanodoning this platform. Not sure it's worth the time to keep going through this.

It's not too unwieldy at the moment but I can see there will come a day when organizing them will become a necessity. 2019 is a perfect time to begin!

I DO use it.... especially when I need to grab an old photo....the key is to label the photo properly so it can be used in a search....

I don't think it ever worked for me. I just scroll thru all the pics which is not the fastest.

No suggestions.

I use both and clearly using good titles is key. Finding the photo I want is sometimes a challenge.

I have not used the search and sorting features. So, I will need some lessons.

I never use the sort feature but, I do use the search feature. The trick is, if you type in a two word search, it shows up together - i.e. FredGriffin. You have to manually go back into the search box and put a space between Fred and Griffin, THEN hit the search arrow. Sometimes it takes a few moments to run the search though.

As you know I always have a photo or two with every post Fred Griffin and I've always wished there was a better way to find some of my old pictures. I try to name them so I will remember and that is how I will do a search for them. It works for me about 90% of the time.

Seems fairly self explanatory, but it is cumbersome. If you want to use the search function it is best to name your photos before uploading them.

I would not suggest that they try to improve it thought, it would be a disaster if something happened to it since all of our blog posts would be photo-less if it went away.

The search feature takes forever, and works some of the time...I can easily access the same photos on my files...Another work has made me smarter in that. LOL A

I have never used the search/sort features, just scroll through the pics because some I don't name and most I can't remember what I named them!

Half-heimers, you know...
