I dont know the answer to this, but if I were to do this I would upgrade for a year at a discounted rate, then blog blog blog until I was at 500k points, and a free account, by the end of the year.

Not a clue Sebastian Miller . Why not look further range and consider what blogging could do for your entire career instead of for just one month?

I would imagine they revert back to members only. Blogging is not about "hit and run" it is about a blog a day. Being consistent and patient. Results are not always instant and blogs have staying power, meaning they can be found today, next month and years to come. Join Aactive Rain, get active and earn points. The fee goes down $10 m for each 100k points you earn. Get to 500k and its free. Look for long term not short term

I believe they do not change anything after you upgrade/downgrade/cancel your account. You have manually change.

This is anintriguing question however I did notice that there was a recent special offer for the whole year at 1/2 price you might want to try that route instead... but you might try emailing support directly to answer your question

Not sure why you would want to take a chance.  Why not just join for the Year and then start blogging.  Nothing happens overnight. The results come "in time" of consistent comments, blogging, and being involved in the community.  And if you would, please update the Blue Face with a picture of you so we can put a picture to a face.  It helps too!
