Our listings are on there but I dont pay them anything additional to show up on the site... they should be autopopulating there. I do have to ensure that's happening on occasion. 

I jave been a paying member for many years until the past few years -- just did not get the ROI -- so moved on.  My listings are syndicated there through MLS.

I don't pay for leads, but I take full advantage of what is made freely available.

Since I don't list I don't use them except for autopopulating from Appfolio for rentals.

I'm listed on realtor.com and have been for 20 years. My listings are sent there by my MLS. But I do not buy leads.

I've been a member for 40 years.... our office wants all agents to be Realtors... 

I enhanced my listings for years but, it didn't really result in business - or the primary goal, the sale of any real property.

I do not pay for leads but, I do get leads from them as a result of my listings there.

I only have a profile & put in my listings - that's it. Don't need anything else from them. I do like the updated site though now.

       My listings populate there, via our MLS syndicator.

     Some years ago, I spent $2500 per quarter for leads.  Then I found out that they had also sold "my exclusive zip code" to several other brokers.   Total rip-off.

In terms of value, I get more out of ActiveRain than that source

They are up front and actually gave me 3 free leads on real affordable housings there.  The conversion rate is like 3-4% and one needs to pay for zip like $250-400 a month to receive 2-3 leads a month.....

In the past i paid to give my listings a boost. Since they have gone to selling zipcodes and banner ads, i found they were worthless. In checking the common thought is Too much money for leads that were garbage. 

Although I'm aware of people who use their services, I'm not one of them. From what I understand, the lead quality has not been tremendous. But, like anything, if worked well could be of benefit.

I have paid to upgrade my profile every year since about 2006. The benefit to this is that only your name shows up on your listings so you get all leads on your listings. In addition, I also purchase approximately 400 leads per year at a cost of about $3,500 per year and have done so since about 2013. I have great success from Realtor.com but I will say that your success will vary depending on your city. If you are in a rural area then you would probably be wasting your money. But  if you are in a densely populated area with tech savvy buyers and sellers then you are missing out if you are not investing in Realtor.com and for that matter Zillow. In fact, I find Zillow to be much better that R.com, especially since they changed their lead system earlier this year.

Are you confusing Realtor.com with the Assoc of Realtors?
