Be aware, most CRMs have a bunch of stuff in common such as 77 year email campaigns and affiliate direct mail companies. Places to record dogs name, gender and birthday....and bunches of busy work stuff. However what makes my TRADITIONAL CRM special is:
FAVORITE DELINEATING FEATURES:
- To do list attaches to client and schedule
- Notes attached for each client
- SEARCHABLE notes
- ALL activities report including lockbox access, email, voice mail and those phone calls the client thinks doesn't count regarding that account or client. Much of it is not in the direct observation of the client. When the activity is stacked it becomes much more obvious we do more they don't see than they do see - on their behalf.
What I don't like:
This is 1980 technology. IN a few years CRM will be task management programs and not Client Relations.
"INBOUND" (has nothing to do with 'inbox') will be the effective marketing and client relations system.

I'm currently using eEdge (kw specific) however, have also used iXact....
Using eEdge as I have to provide tech support for office... and this is what is primarily being used. Nothing about eEdge that I hate... they are actually changing up the system... so will "re-decide" then
iXact was not expensive, a very easy to use system... gives a free trial... and obligates you only month by month. Customer support I found to be very good. I had nothing I hated on it either....
I think if I had 3 things that I hated on a CRM, I wouldn't be using the CRM.

- Very organic and user friendly
- Shows me my stats for prospecting activity, P&L and leads to referrals to conversion rate, etc.
- Robust features that tie into my marketing plan.
I don't hate anything about it other than the APP version is a little too stripped down.

I like the IDX feed allowing an individual and customizable search. I like the reminders and the campaigns I can set up. I'd like to have chat on my CRM.
