I live in California so guess what?

Quite slim but, I did live through Hurricane Hugo in 1989, which did a LOT of damage to Charlotte.

We never thought a hurricane would come this far inland!

I'm a native Californian.  Any guesses? 

We already had our share the latter part of last year into this year.  We are still recovering. A

Smack dab on top of the San Andreas Fault.  

I used to think we would live on the coast half the year but as the grandkids come, we don't want to be that far away. The threat of storms did not concern us.

Very slim...there are occasional tornadoes in southeastern Wisconsin...none that have done serious damage in our area for at least a century.

Not all that much....one reason we picked the Charlotte area to move to. Nothing in 20 years, but maybe I shouldn't say that and jinx myself.

According to charts, in 2002 there were fires in the middle section of AZ, not in the southern section where we live John Juarez, so in spite of mountains all around us, the vegetation is different as opposed to forests of trees.  The chance of electrical storms is with us every Monsoon Season, though we do not see fires yearly, and depending on where in the mountain ranges, dwellings are not prevalent.  When we lived in CA, that was a different story, and we lived there for 30 years.

  Hi, John.  Nothing personal, but I don't read the New York Times.

Living in the Midwest -- Wisconsin -- we rarely have natural disasters -- some flooding in areas but nothing like we see on TV!  A tornado but so far have been lucky.  Some of my clients?  Not as lucky.

Since I am on Planet Earth there is a probability.

Delaware?? It happens...  though not that frequently.  It's a relatively safe place in that reguard... so send me your buyers... we still have room and homes to put them in.  The can go to bed at night and be relatively certain that they will wake up in the morning with everything in one piece!!

I live in Florida, and if I didn’t live here it would be California.

Likely ... Earthquake.  

Here in the Portland/Vancouver metro area 'twas common in the recent past to say: "where were You when the Mountain (St. Helens 1980) Blew?"  The fine-particulate volcanic ash is challenging in many ways.  When Mt. Rainier goes the Lahar(s) will be immense and tough on the Seattle and Puget Sound region.

Highly likely since I am on the Coast.

The closest thing we've got are tornados.

It is a given for earthquakes and fires in CA, tornadoes in the plains and hurricanes in Florida. I choose to live in the lower percentage area of New England. 

We live close to several nuclear power plants(3 Mile Island)

Depends on how you define natural disaster, we get tornados and some severe winter weather, but none of that stuff the folks out west and in the SE get.

Virtually everyone lives in a natural disaster zone. Kind of a silly thing to worry about; be prepared and live your life.

anything is possible especially the unknown...I am ready for anything and if you contemplate this...what other choice does one have? When its time for something to happen....well it's time! Let come what may whatever it is...

If you count a blizzard as a natural disaster it's high. If not it's very low.

If Sierra Club, PETA, and Nancy Polisi could be muzzled, the risk of a natural disaster would go way down. Just ask the folks in the smokey environments of western USA. Sierra Club now has their cross hairs on Oregon. That won't end well....for Oregonians.

the worst we get is a winter blizzard.... our hurricanes are usually just a bad storm...

I'm in California.  We have fires, floods, mudslides and earthquakes.  So yeah, very likely.

Weather patterns are changing right in front of our eyes. CT is not known for tornadoes, yet we had a pretty major one pass right through our town in mid May.

In NJ, tornadoes and earthquakes are rare, volcanoes are nonexistent, but we have at least one good hurricane a year.

Without clicking a link i'm sure that los angeles hood is one of those places: fires, earthquakes, traffic( local natural disaster )

Not much of a chance but Harvey did Houston in and we were close to being in trouble.

Wildfire, earthquake, flood, and sink holes -- what me worry?

100% - I live in Florida LOL

We're in the natural path every hurricane season, compound that with the most lightning strikes, torrential rains and flooding, algae blooms,  sinkholes, etc. therefore our likelihood is somewhere near 99% although when is another question. 

Denver is close to Yellowstone and if it blows we will get hit in Denver, 11 hours away!

Phew, I am safe! :-) Our biggest threat is wildfires. 

Many different forms of natuaral disasters. Are you pointing at the uncontrolled invasion at the southern border? Can't say that is natural!

It can happen anywhere.

In my location (Utah) we are sometimes snowed in, have the occasional fire and also have the potential for flooding when the snow melts. We also have a theoretical earthquake potential. All of these are pretty minor in comparison to other locations.
