It will not affect me but think of the irony. Liberal states and cities over charging people taxes where business and residents are moving out to lower tax areas by the droves. Then Zillow over charging us Realtors. Will Realtors wake up and leave Z in droves?

Cities like Seattle and states like California are just shooting themselves in the proverbial foot. It won't affect my business at all (unless of course, Zillow joins many other corporations who are moving to Charlotte!  )

I don't know that it will affect my business in any way. It will affect the economy of Seattle to a degree. Coming from a state where our Governor has chased out all of the Fortune 500 companies I can tell you the obvious- that lost revenue is not good for any city. 

The homeless and affordable housing crisis is real but the head tax on business is not the right solution.  The negative consequences could be significant.

Who cares where they move, I know that Amazon stopped construction on their new highrise in Seattle.  And they are talking about moving to LA, which will become a worst traffic hell than it is now...A

They don't need to come to TN. We will not be nearly as welcoming to them as we were to Amazon.

Fred Griffin My rep is in Florida (from Seatle) once per month and stops by my office on just about every visit.

I would not be surprised at all if the big Z makes a move to Sunny / No Income Tax Florida and brings thousands of good paying jobs in the process. 

I think that z has other issues they need to watch.  They think they are to big to be told what to do

!st Zillow is always off and has the values way too low! It does not matter to me where they go.

I've had Zillow employees as clients since I'm in that market. Maybe I could pick up a few more listings as they move away!
