"Buyers smoking while showing" - This has never happened to me... They can smoke in their vehicle but not on the property of a listed home.

One time I was screening a buyer who called into the office...

Among her list of things she wanted in a home...she stated that she wanted to only work with an agent that would let her smoke in the car.

I had an office full of agents but told her we only had non-smoking cars...

Actually, that was my office policy...I only hired non smokers.

Smoking is really frowned on in Oregon (unless it is canabis ) and I do not know of many who do this during showings.

I have not had any issues with buyers lighting up at any of my showings. I am happy smokers are more caring of others these days. We have had many brush fires along roads though from tossed cigs

Buyers and sellers never smoke while working with me - I can't handle that and they know it. Yuck.  And that is terrible that such damage is done by not putting out a cigarette 100% - who does that.....geez.
