I think the whole bathroom needs to go.. sorry... the vanity is outdated as well as the faucets, and the wood on the walls?   Love the red tub... but it has to be paired with a new vanity, walls, etc.,

I'd keep the tub but change out the sink/vanity. I'm not sure what I'd replace it with, but I don't like the white tile, faucets and those drawers....

I often say there's a chair for every butt.  That saying can be adapted to there's a .... for every bathtub.

I had a listing that had a red lacquer kitchen.  It looked amazing, but most people either hated it or thought it was cool for someone else.  The people who bought the property were sweet, fabulous people and they (the wife especially) loved the red kitchen.  It was perfect for them.

The red bathtub will appeal to stylish people like Candice A. Donofrio or the nice people who bought the red kitchen.  People who aren't fans can have the tub re-glazed or removed.

Get rid of all the wood which doesn't go with the contemporary look. Get rid of euro cabinets too while your at it.

Add spring board to the back end of the tub OR have scuba gear station in lieu of towel rack.

I think it's a unique tub and a good solution for underneath the slope of the roof. It's a bit of mismatch with the vanity though and the paneling.

I entered a flip a few years ago with a lowcost AKIA RED guest bath. Every potential buyer exited talking about how sensational the guest bath was. The potential homeowner 'Knew' this house gives them and their guests something to talk about, something the 'rest of them' did not have. The home was not available on day 2. 

Mind youi it WAS SENSATIONAL, not like the one pictured above.

Low ceiling and small space- the cost to gut the bathroom and upgrade $20000. not worth the juice because it is impossible to please everyone. I recommend they paint the paneling white and the pine trim on the vanity with oil-based paint by a careful pro. The cost to paint $150 will tone down the country kooky look.

I don't know.... it's the wood paneling that bothers me.... it cheapens it.... I think something really cool could be done by replacing the wood paneling.... and what appears to be the light fixture with the wood-like trim? It could really make the bathroom unique...
