Except for falling leaves, fall has less storms than other times of year. Sounds safer to me

It's possible to find better deals in the fall because there are fewer buyers. However, if you wait until the fall you are gambling that interest rates will remain low which may wipe out the benefit of waiting for a lower price. Also, the market may appreciate from now until the fall.

Depends on the market. The last 18-24 have been a seller take all around here. Hopefully this Spring has some inventory hit the market and breaks free some stuff for buyers to carry over into the Fall. All-in-all, when the right house hits the market, it’s a good time for the buyer.

Safe? Search... time of year MAY have some relivance but its much more important to look at the MARKET conditions in the moment.

To try to forecast what the FUTURE requires a working crystalball.. some years one time of year or another is best... likely you will only KNOW that after it has already past though.

I suspect Fall is no less or more safe for home searching buyers than any other time of the year.
