YES, but not because of what you stated in your question. I'm having no blog issues. Abandonment issues by out "leadership" yes; tech issues no.

Hard to say. Hopefully most members have a back-up plan if AR closes down. I guess it's a risk we take whne blogging on rented platforms, or platforms we have no control over.

no, we're just taking turns.... I had my turn yesterday Roy Kelley and others were commenting.... I would get an email...and I responded via that email... if I clicked on the title of the post, I was there.... if I clicked directly on the post via AR, I would receive that message.... took a few hours, but it is now fixed...

I faced that message for several hours last night Roy Kelley  

I could not log in - each time I tried the page would bounce back to the login page.  

As for the demise?  Only the owner knows. 

I imagine this glitch will pass.

I can't log in at all using Firefox. I had to switch to Chrome which is working fine.

I think we are flying solo, so to speak...

I have not really had issues except for a few hours of being unable to log on the other day due to heavy activity in the Rain (but that happens from time t time). Not sure why this would spell the demise of Active Rain.

No, just a round of glitches!

I couldn't log in today until just now (2pm west coast).

I had no luck logging on through Chrome and changed to Safari and got right in. 

No idea.

I have had trouble yesterday and today on and off.

  Temporary technical glitches.  Even the mighty YouTube, a site worth tens of billions of dollars, was down for 5 or 6 hours the other day.

I was unable to log on yesterday -

I had login issues this morning, but i just attributed it to some tech glitches.

It's more likely some server modification was made or they were attempting to clean-up the code base and it caused the glitch.

OK, so here is some interesting research. I often share my AR articles on FB. I just tried a couple of links back to AR. If I shared the article to FB using the full path name of the Blog post it works fine. However, if I shared it using the Short URL, it does not load when clicked from FB.

Your results may differ, but this is what I have found.

Definitely did over the weekend, but seems to have been fixed now, thankfully.

I don't think so.  They are working on fixiing issues.  A

IMHO, the issue logging in the other day is much less frequent that the "red curtain" in the old days and do not see this issue as a "demise" at all.  Technical issue that got resolved rather quickly.

It was a problem with the Chrome browser.  Appears to be working this morning.

I would sure miss it.
