It's a LOT of work to do, for sure! I'm sure it keeps some people in their current brokerages because of the amount of work to do to erase all of the old information!!

Opps...you are late! Do it immediately! You might want to hire someone  to help as it is time consuming. Your time is better spent in the business.

I do it right away, just an FYI when the company changed names from Prudential to Berkshire Hathaway I was working virtually 24 /7 to make the changes... ironically I did not even change brokers....Endre

I switched in the fall and had most changes made withing 2 days time. I had my assistant work on designing new logos and making checklists a couple of weeks beforehand to be ready to launch and be up and running immediately.

Supposed to be immediately! You cannot work for 2 brokers at the same time and even though you are not you are "advertising" that you are. Do it now amigo!

I have been with my current broker for the past 10 years Praful Thakkar but I thing it has to be done right away if you change brokerage.

I would say you have an obligation to do it as quickly as possible so that your advertising is 100% truthful.

Immediately. When I switched brokers last April, I already had a list of everything that needed to change. Boom, day 1, that's part of what I did.

I usually write a list where i have to change as priority, those are places you use the most often.

Per NAR Code of Ethics, Article 12, SOP 12-8 "REALTORS shall use reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on their websites is current."

The last change I did was before Sockial Media. 

I have not changed my company for 11.5 years. 

I always recomend to do it ASAP.

OMG..get it changed. If I change brokerages I would do it the day I changed. Hire someone if necessary to help you make the changes!

Not that I would change brokerages, but I'd think that would be something I'd carve out a day to do, along with all the data broker sites and doing massive searches.  Of course, some places on the web still have my folks as being with Re/Max, even though they've had their own company for 20 years, so who knows how effective change requests can be?

Immediately. Thankfully I have not had to do that for awhile and likely will never need to do it again.  I do need to update my photos every few years. It takes time, and it is a pain to do, yet I feel it is important to do.

I would make it effective immediately upon the change & have whatever I could prepared to go prior to the move to make that conversion easier. 

I tried to take care of all of that as quickly as possible when I changed back in early 2011. It took a little while.

Many sites or sign ups do NOT have an option. BTW: I have not once being asked what brokerage I hang my license. No one cares.

Praful Thakkar I would say as soon as possible. There may be a legal or licensing  issue since you don't work for your previous company anymore.

I would think you should have done it immediately.  I also send out a mass email to my sphere of influence, clients, and friends with all my new contact information.  The last time I changed brokerages (12 years aago) I changed all my social media, and any internet related pages immediately.

I have only changed brokers once and I started to change my information right away in as many places as possible.
