They are all technically forever stamps as I understand it... if you buy them at 50 cents they are good forever until you use them up. But if you run out of them, you buy new stamps at whatever the current price is and they are also good forever until you use them up.

Seems like today is too late to worry about it: 1 cent increase anyhow.
Thanks for the link though, I do mail roughly 6,600 personal notes, postcards and monthly mailers per year, so the pennies add up.

I buy stamps but use EDDM for farming so the cost is paid online. I have a bunch of forever stamps and they can be used no matter what the price. Glad it's only 1 cent!

Yes, I buy them for my impromptu cards but, I pay a service to do my mailers so, those rates will increase, Praful. It's a 1¢ hike this year so, $5 for a 500-card mailer isn't too bad!

We are pretty well all electronic so stamps are not a major purchase.

Ugh.... another rate increase. I do buy forever stamps for a lot of my outreach. "Forever" is a relative term though especially at the USPS and I'll be purchasing pricier ones in the near future.

Yes we always buy a large quantity and when we start running low we just buy another large quantity knowing at some point in time the price will go up again. You can only invest so much in this area! We try to be about two years ahead of the game in the usage of our postage stamps.

I do bulk discount but I'm sure that is not staying the same either. It was 21.6 I think.

I don't use first class mail for mailers.. but I don't think the 2% increase would motivate me to prepurchase

Praful Thakkar I just bought 100 Forever stamps the other day. I hope this increase gives my postman a raise so he brings the mail on time every day.

I use mostly stamps. If I can get something done in bulk or at a cheaper rate, like standard, I would.
